In India, Import Export Code registration is required for import and export of products and services. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issues a 10-digit unique code to the individual once the IEC registration procedure is completed.

Documents Required

    For IEC Code Registration, the following documents are required:
  • Valid Mobile Number / Email ID
  • Proof of Establishment / Incorporation/ Registration ( Partnership Deed, Registered Society, Trust, HUF, Others)
  • Individual`s or Firm`s or Company`s copy of PAN Card
  • Individual`s voter id or Aadhar card or passport copy
  • Individuals or companies or firms cancel cheque copies of current bank accounts
  • Bank Certificate in prescribed format [Download]
  • GST Certificate
  • Proof of Address (Any one) - Rent Agreement / Sale Deed / Lease Deed or Electricity Bill Copy of the premise / Telephone Bill / Mobile Postpaid Bill / MOU / Partnership Deed
  • User Should have active Digital Signature or Aadhar of the Firms member for submission
